United Pirates Rugby Sports Club

United Pirates Rugby Sports Club was the amalgamation of 3 rugby clubs and 2 amalgamations. The first is the combining of Te Puke Old Boys Rugby Club and High School Old Boys which was believed to have taken place in the 1940’s. The next was the amalgamation of United Old Boys Rugby Club and Pirates Rugby Club in 1964. Changed their name to Te Puke Sports Club in 1990 but still referred to as Pirates
