Te Mata Rugby Club

Te Mata Rugby Club. Rugby has always been popular in the Raglan district. There was once a Raglan rugby sub-union to which about 6 clubs belonged. In the early 1920’s the competing clubs were Raglan, Te Mata, Moerangi, Kariori, Waitetuna and Te Akau.
