Club History

Star Rugby Club Greymouth – Star United was formed in 1968 through the amalgamation of Star Rugby Club (formed 1902) and United Rugby Club (formed 1906). Both former clubs produced 2 All Blacks; Jack Steel and Mike Gilbert, and 2 All Black trialists; Arthur Fong and George Nelson.
