Club History

Ohai-Nightcaps United Rugby Club – The Ohai club was established in 1923, with foundation teams first playing a year later. Nightcaps was formed earlier, in 1902. The nearby Wreys Bush club also played against its Coalfields neighbours. The Ohai club survived for 70 years until the 1994 merger with Nightcaps.
