Nomads Rugby Club Wanganui

Club History

The Nomads Rugby Club Wanganui played in 1957 but there is almost nothing known about the club.

They are not mentioned in the Wanganui rugby histories and they are not mentioned in the NZ rugby almanacks. The games that they played must not have been granted first class status.

They seem to be a very short lived “friendly” club based on the Barbarian type club playing invitational friendly matches.

Theor colours were Red, White and Blue hoops
