Eastern Suburbs Rugby Club (Auckland)

Eastern Suburbs Rugby Club (Auckland) was formed in 1943 and built their clubrooms at Orakei Domain in the 1960’s. They amalgamated with Teachers Rugby Club in 1985 to form Teachers Eastern Rugby Club. In 2014 Teachers Eastern amalgamated with Grammar Carlton to form Grammar TEC (where TEC stands for Teachers Eastern Carlton). In 2010 Teachers Eastern celebrated 25 years as a club, officially recognised by the book ‘Teachers Eastern: the first 25 years.’
