Diamond Harbour Rugby Club

Diamond Harbour Rugby Club was formed in 1969 and celebrated its 50th jubilee in 2019. No booklet was published but there is a page that contains photos from the celebration View the link The club plays in the Ellesmere sub-union which covers Banks Peninsula (excluding Lyttelton), and the Lincoln, Leeston and Selwyn areas. Originally, the club was placed in the senior A competition, but was subsequently demoted to second grade, winning that grade in 1976, 1989 and 1990.
