Club History

Corinthians Rugby Club

Corinthians Rugby Club is a kindred rugby club founded 75 years ago based in Matamata. It organises, finances and equips invitational rugby fixtures at various levels from Senior to schoolboys/girls. It is a non-profit organisation, financed by subscriptions, grants and donations. There is no fixed fixture programme other than annual schoolboys/girls field day in June and an annual local school game. Games are arranged as and when required. The club is run by a volunteer committee elected at each year’s annual general meeting. Its assets consist only of sets of playing strip. The Corinthians colours are red, blue and gold
