Club History

Bombay Rugby Club

The Bombay Rugby Club was formed in 1888 and plays in the Counties-Manukau competition. Its most famous player is Andy Dalton. In the 1860’s a ship named “Bombay” brought settlers to NZ who settled in an area they named Bombay, after the ship. The Rugby Club is based in that area.
